Ivana Pristašová – Violin
The Violin master-class is open to all aspiring violinists who wish to dedicate themselves to their repertoire and technique under the tutelage of Ivana Pristasová. Each student is offered 3 lessons á 75 minutes, a rehearsal and participation at the closing concerts.

Registrations for existing duos (violin/piano) are also welcome.

Ivana Pristašová
has been the concertmaster of the „Bratislava Chamber Soloists“ since the year 2000. Besides her busy schedule as soloist and chamber musician she has worked extensively in the field of contemporary music and has already played numerous premieres. She collaborated with ensembles like the „Klangforum Wien“, „ensemble on_line“, „Contrechamp Genève“, „Ensemble Wiener Collage“ and the „Ensemble XX.Jahrhundert“ and has performed with them at important festivals such as the Festival Agora Paris, Ruhrtriennale, Salzburg Festival, Wien Modern, Klangspuren Schwaz, the Schleswig-Holstein-Festival, the Biennale Venedig and the Lucerne Festival. Furthermore she participated at several opera productions.
Ivana Pristasová was born in 1974 in Bratislava, Slovakia. She studied at the conservatory of her home-town and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. M. Frischenschlager and Prof. E. Tchougaeva.
Since 2007 she has been teaching violin at the Landeskonservatorium Tirol.
